Web application development for products that need to perform

We build web applications that load quickly, work for every user and remain easy to change years after launch. From customer portals to data-heavy dashboards and SaaS products, we combine considered interface design with solid front-end architecture.

Web applications we build

Our focus is software that people use every day to get work done, not brochure sites. That means complex state, real-time data, permissions, forms that must not lose input, and interfaces that stay responsive with thousands of records on screen.

  • SaaS products and multi-tenant platforms
  • Customer and partner portals with role-based access
  • Operational dashboards and data-heavy internal tools
  • Progressive web apps that work offline and install like native apps
  • Design systems and component libraries shared across products

Front-end architecture that scales with your team

Most of our web applications are built with React and TypeScript. Strict typing, a clear separation between server state and UI state, and feature-based folder structures keep large codebases navigable as the team grows.

We choose the rendering strategy per product: static generation for content that rarely changes, server rendering where search visibility or first-load speed matters, and client-side rendering for authenticated application screens. A shared design system with documented components keeps the interface consistent and speeds up every new feature.

Performance and accessibility as requirements

We set performance budgets for Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS) at the start and enforce them in CI, so regressions are caught before release rather than reported by users. Code splitting, careful dependency choices and optimized assets keep bundles small on mid-range mobile devices and slower networks.

Accessibility follows WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic HTML first, full keyboard support, visible focus states, sufficient contrast and screen-reader testing on critical flows. Accessible applications are also easier to test, easier to automate and better understood by search engines.

Quality, security and delivery

Components are covered by unit tests, critical user journeys by end-to-end tests that run on every pull request, and visual changes are reviewed in preview deployments before they reach production. Content Security Policy, secure session handling and dependency scanning are part of the baseline, not an upsell.

A web application is only as good as the APIs behind it. When the backend is part of the scope, our backend and API engineering team designs contracts with the front end in mind, often using Node.js or Spring Boot.

How a web project runs

We begin with the user journeys and the data model, then deliver in short iterations with a working preview environment you can click through at any time. Designers and engineers work in the same iteration, so what is designed is what gets built.

At handover you receive the source code, the component library and its documentation, the test suites, deployment configuration and a walkthrough with your team. You own everything from the first commit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why do you mostly use React and TypeScript?

React has a mature ecosystem, a large hiring pool and strong tooling, which lowers the long-term cost of owning the application. TypeScript catches whole categories of bugs before runtime and makes large codebases safer to refactor. We will recommend something else if your context calls for it.

Can you improve the performance of our existing web application?

Yes. We measure first using real-user data and lab tooling, identify the largest contributors to slow LCP or poor INP, and fix them in order of impact. Typical culprits are oversized bundles, render-blocking resources, unoptimized images and expensive re-renders.

Will the application work well on mobile devices?

Every interface is designed and tested for small screens and touch input from the start, not shrunk down from a desktop layout. If you need native device features or app store distribution, our mobile app development service can share business logic with the web app.

How long does it take to build a web application?

It depends on the number of user roles, screens, integrations and how much already exists. We prefer to release a focused first version early and grow it based on real usage, rather than building everything up front. Discovery gives you a realistic plan with clear assumptions.
