Technologies

Our technology stack, chosen for systems that last

We work across the modern stack, from Java, Spring Boot and Node.js on the backend to React and TypeScript on the front end, running on AWS, Azure and Kubernetes. Here is what we use, and why.

Expertise

Deep expertise across the modern stack.

We choose technology for longevity, not novelty. Our engineers work fluently across every layer, so architecture decisions are made with the whole system in view.

01

Frontend

Interfaces that stay fast as they grow.

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • JavaScript
  • Next.js
  • Vite
02

Backend

Services built for clarity and throughput.

03

Cloud

Managed, scalable, cost-aware.

  • AWS
  • Azure
  • Serverless
  • CDN & Edge
04

Data

Modeled carefully, queried efficiently.

  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB
  • Redis
  • Elasticsearch
05

Messaging

Decoupled systems that scale independently.

  • Kafka
  • RabbitMQ
  • Event sourcing
  • CQRS
06

DevOps & Infrastructure

Repeatable environments, observable systems.

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • GitHub Actions
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana

How we choose technology

A technology choice is a long-term commitment: it shapes who you can hire, what the system costs to run and how hard it will be to change in five years. We therefore favor mature, well-supported tools and only reach for something newer when it solves a specific problem better.

  • Fit for the problem: throughput, latency, consistency and offline needs come first.
  • Your team: what your engineers already know, and what you can realistically hire for.
  • Ecosystem maturity: long-term support releases, security patch cadence and library quality.
  • Operational cost: hosting footprint, observability and the effort to keep it patched.
  • Exit options: open standards and portable infrastructure over proprietary lock-in.

Java or Node.js for the backend?

Both are excellent, and the right answer depends on context. Java with Spring Boot shines for large domain models, heavy concurrency and teams that value strong typing and a deep enterprise ecosystem. Node.js with TypeScript is a strong fit for I/O-heavy APIs, backends-for-frontends and teams that want one language across the stack.

Many systems use both: a Java core for transactional domains and Node.js at the edge, close to a React front end. We will recommend one, explain the trade-offs and stay pragmatic about mixing them where it helps.

Keeping stacks current

Outdated frameworks are one of the most common sources of security risk and slow delivery. We track long-term support timelines, automate dependency updates and plan upgrades, such as Java 8 to 21, Spring Boot 2 to 3 or a React version upgrade, as routine engineering work rather than emergency projects.

If you have inherited a system on an aging stack, our software architecture consulting starts with an audit and an incremental upgrade plan.
